Community Guidelines

Effective date June 15, 2026

Our Community Spirit

Qutrek is built on a simple belief: you don’t need a plane ticket to explore the world — you just need curiosity. Every day, our community shares real moments from real places, helping each other discover the extraordinary in the everyday.

These Community Guidelines exist to keep Qutrek a space where curiosity thrives, where every culture is respected, and where the spirit of exploration is celebrated. They apply to everything you share on Qutrek, every Trek, every photo, every caption, every message, and every interaction.

These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. Violating them may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination of your Account.

About Qutrek

Qutrek is the world's social exploration platform, where discovery becomes part of your daily life. Every day, real explorers and locals from around the world share the destinations they've fallen in love with, the adventures that changed them, the landmarks that left them speechless, the cultures that opened their minds, the nature that took their breath away, the stays that felt like home, and the quiet, charming moments in between, all through Treks.

8 photos. 60 seconds. One trek. That's all it takes to show the world something incredible.

Qutrek is a culturally rich, visually inspiring, and community-driven platform that celebrates diversity, adventure, exploration, and global connection, making the world feel both vast and familiar. Behind it all is an ambitious vision: to transform how people explore the world, enabling richer destination discovery, smarter exploration, more meaningful experiences, and seamless access to local services across the globe.

Make discovery part of your day. Let the world surprise you, one Trek at a time.

Content Rules: What Belongs on Qutrek

Be Authentic

Qutrek is about real experiences from real places. Your Treks should reflect genuine moments and accurate locations.

• Only upload photos and videos you took yourself or have the right to share.

• Do not falsify or manipulate location data. Every Trek must be tagged to the actual location where the content was captured.

• Do not use AI generated images or heavily manipulated content that misrepresents a place or experience.

• Post in the correct category — a food experience belongs in Culture, not Activities.

• Do not present advertisements, promotional Content, or sponsored experiences as independent personal recommendations without clearly disclosing the commercial relationship.

Be Respectful

Qutrek connects people across cultures, countries, and backgrounds. Treat every community member and every culture with respect.

• Do not post content that demeans, mocks, or disrespects local cultures, traditions, religions, or communities.

• Do not post content that harasses, bullies, intimidates, or targets any individual.

• Be thoughtful in your captions and messages — words matter.

• Respect the privacy of people who appear in your photos. If someone is identifiable and the photo is taken in a private setting, get their consent.

• Respect sacred sites, restricted areas, and local photography rules.

Be Safe

Discovery should be inspiring, not dangerous. Do not share content that could put you or others at risk.

• Do not promote or glorify dangerous stunts, illegal trespassing, or reckless behavior at tourist sites or natural areas.

• Do not post instructions or encouragement that could reasonably lead others into dangerous or restricted areas.

• Do not share content that could endanger wildlife or damage natural habitats.

• Do not share misleading safety information about destinations, hiking trails, water conditions, or similar.

• If you feature a location with known risks (e.g., a difficult trail), provide an appropriate warning or safety note in your caption.

• Do not encourage Users to attempt activities that require professional training, specialized equipment, permits, supervision, or safety precautions without clearly acknowledging those requirements.

Users remain responsible for independently evaluating the safety, legality, accessibility, and suitability of any destination or activity shown on Qutrek.

Prohibited Behavior

Beyond content, these behaviors are not allowed on Qutrek:

• Harassment or targeted abuse of any user, including in direct messages or through repeated unwanted interactions

• Stalk, monitor, track, threaten, or repeatedly contact another person in a way that invades their privacy or causes fear or distress. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Qutrek maintains an absolute zero tolerance policy for the following. Violations result in immediate, permanent account termination and a report to law enforcement:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors;

• Non-consensual intimate images or videos, including authentic, digitally altered, or artificially generated Content depicting an identifiable person;

• Content that supports, promotes, praises, recruits for, or facilitates terrorism or violent extremism; and

• Credible threats of imminent physical violence or serious harm.

When Qutrek reasonably determines that a violation has occurred, we may immediately remove or restrict the relevant Content and permanently terminate the responsible Account without a prior warning.

Where required or appropriate, Qutrek may preserve relevant information and report suspected illegal activity to competent law-enforcement authorities or other authorized organizations.

For qualifying non-consensual intimate Content covered by the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act, Qutrek will remove or disable access to the Content, and make reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies, within forty-eight (48) hours after receiving a valid removal request.

Because of the seriousness of these violations, Qutrek generally does not provide warnings or repeated opportunities to violate these rules. Any review or appeal rights required by applicable law will remain available.

Location Integrity

Location is at the heart of Qutrek. Every Trek is tied to a real place, and that accuracy is what makes our community trustworthy.

• Treks must be tagged to the actual location where the content was captured.

• Do not tag a Trek to a trending or popular location to gain visibility if your content was not created there.

• Do not use VPN or GPS spoofing tools to fake your location.

• Qutrek may verify location data and remove Treks with manipulated coordinates.

Location manipulation undermines the trust of the entire community. Repeated violations will result in account suspension.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

Reporting

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can report any Trek or user profile by tapping the report button (menu > Report Trek / Profile). You can also email us at support@qutrek.com.

Reports from non-registered users regarding illegal content are also accepted via email, in compliance with the EU Digital Services Act.

Review Process

Qutrek currently relies on human moderators to review reported Content and potential violations of these Community Guidelines. Our moderation team reviews the available information, relevant context, and severity of the alleged violation before taking appropriate action.

Depending on the circumstances, Qutrek may take no action, request additional information, restrict or remove Content, limit Account features, issue a warning, temporarily suspend an Account, or permanently terminate an Account.

Actions We May Take

• Content removal: removing the offending Trek, caption, or media

• Warning: notifying you of the violation and the applicable guideline

• Temporary suspension: restricting your account for a set period

• Permanent termination: closing your account for severe or repeated violations

• Law enforcement referral: for illegal content, CSAM, terrorism, or credible threats

Notification and Appeals

Where reasonably practicable and required by applicable law, Qutrek may notify you when we remove or restrict your Content, limit Account features, suspend your Account, or permanently terminate your Account.

The notice may include:

• The action taken;

• The general reason for the decision;

• The Community Guideline, rule, or legal requirement involved; and

• Information about any available appeal process.

We may withhold or limit certain information where disclosure could create a safety or security risk, reveal another person’s private information, interfere with an investigation, facilitate further violations, or violate applicable law.

You may appeal an eligible moderation decision by emailing support@qutrek.com. Your appeal should include sufficient information to identify the relevant Content, Account, or decision, together with a clear explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Qutrek will review eligible appeals within a reasonable period, taking into account the seriousness and complexity of the matter, the information available, and the volume of requests received. Where reasonably practicable, an appeal may be reviewed by a person who was not responsible for the original decision.

We may reject or close appeals that are abusive, repetitive, manifestly unfounded, unrelated to a moderation decision, or submitted without sufficient information.

Where the Digital Services Act applies, eligible Users in the European Union may also have the right to refer certain disputes to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. Information about available redress options will be provided where required by applicable law.

Protecting Young Users

Qutrek is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under our Terms of Service. Users must be at least thirteen (13) years old, or the higher minimum age required by the laws of their country or region.

We take the safety of younger Users seriously. Content or conduct that exploits, endangers, sexualizes, targets, or may cause serious harm to minors is prohibited and may be removed immediately.

If we reasonably believe that a User is below the applicable minimum age, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate the Account and take reasonable steps to delete the associated personal data, subject to applicable legal, safety, security, and record retention requirements.

Parents, guardians, and other Users who believe that an underage person has created an Account, or that a young User may be at risk, should contact us at support@qutrek.com.
